MONTHLY TUITION:Tuition is due by the 15th of each month. After the 15th, a $5.00 late fee is automatically added to your balance. Tuition is figured on the number of weeks we have classes throughout the year (typically between 30-32 weeks) and then divided into monthly payments. Our short months, like December and May are made up by months that have more than 4 weeks. Therefore, full tuition is expected to be paid September thru May.

  • 60 minutes (one hour class or 2– 1⁄2 hour classes) = $40 a month

  • 90 minutes (2 - 45 min. classes) = $60 a month

  • 3rd - 5th class = $18 per 1⁄2 hour class or $25 per 45 min. class
  • 6th class = FREE

  • 7th or more = $15 per 1⁄2 hour class or $20 per 45 min. class
  • Creative Movement & Adult Jazz = $30 a month

COSTUME DEPOSIT:A deposit of $20 or more is paid September through January per dancer to give them $100 or more paid in toward their Recital costume(s). If a younger dancer takes 2 classes, one $20 deposit is usually sufficient. If enrolled in 3 or more classes or if the dancer will possibly wear an adult sized costume, 2 or more deposits of $20 are needed. The full cost of costumes & all accessories (tights, headpieces, etc) is not figured until March and payment of the balance is due then. COSTUME DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER NOV 1st!

RECITAL FEE: This is a one-time payment ($30) per family at registration. This money is used to cover the expenses of recital, gives each family 4 tickets to the spring recital, and each dancer a recital theme t-shirt.  This fee is non-refundable once classes have begun.

REGISTRATION FEE: This is a one-time payment of $20 per dancer at registration. This fee is non-refundable once classes have begun.

PERFECT ATTENDANCE...a student can earn a “perfect attendance” trophy by attending at least half of every class they are enrolled in. There are no exceptions to the attendance rule- sickness, funerals, field trips, etc. It is understood that the “fault” is usually not the dancer’s but abuses in the past make exceptions impossible. This studio tries to encourage dancers to grow into responsible adults and some of life’s hard lessons are “one cannot always get what one wants” and “life is full of hard choices”. Perfect attendance trophies are presented during the annual spring recital. ALL STUDENTS RECEIVE A PARTICIPATION TROPHY AT RECITAL.

  • HOLIDAYS...Danceology follows the Suwannee & Hamilton County Public School Calendar! Classes are not held during school holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break. Classes may or may not be held during weekday holidays and Teacher Workdays. Students will be notified prior to the holiday if there will be classes.
  • Arrive on time for classes. Tardiness is a distraction to others in the class and embarrassing for the late dancer. Dancers should not be dropped off more than 15 minutes prior to their first class and should be picked up promptly after the final class. Dancers must stay inside the waiting room until their ride has arrived.
  • Dancers may wear a variety of dance apparel in various colors for weekly classes: leotards with or without skirts, bikatards, crop tops with jazz shorts or leggings, etc.  The “studio uniform” can also be worn for weekly classes. Tights are mandatory for every class! Gym shorts and t-shirts without a leotard underneath is frowned upon.  Decorative tank tops can be worn over leotards & crop tops.
  • Dancers must wear their hair in either a bun, braid, or ponytail for all classes. Dancers should keep a supply of ponytail holders and clips/ bobby pins in their bag.
  • Dancers are encouraged to have a specific bag that is their “dance bag”. There are many styles available for order and in many of the local stores. We ask that the dancers name be on the bag somewhere to help cut down on confusion of whose stuff is whose.
  • Dance shoes should NOT be worn outside, especially ballet/jazz shoes. Ballet/jazz shoes cannot be washed! All-purpose cleaner sprayed on a rag can be used to wipe off some stains. Vaseline can be used to add a shine to dance shoes, but use it sparingly.
  • Visitors & Parents are always welcome but must stay in the waiting room. If dancers become distracted by commotion in the waiting room or doorway, the door will be shut. Anyone being loud or rambunctious in the waiting room will be asked to leave.
  • NO FOOD OR DRINK INSIDE THE STUDIO!
  • There is to be no use of drugs, cigarettes or foul language while inside or around the vicinity of Danceology.
